Jump starting directly from the Battery Box should only be used as a last resort in the most dire of situations! To avoid causing permanent damage to your battery, it is recommended to connect the alligator clips to the flat battery directly and allow the voltage to equal out for 5 minutes afterwards disconnect and attempt to start the vehicle. Jump starting while connected to an AGM Battery will likely result in destruction of the battery.
