The BMV600S is Victron's newest precision battery monitor. The essential function of a battery monitor is to calculate the amp-hours consumed and the state of charge of a battery.

Sure you can simply apply a voltmeter to your batteries terminals, but this an extremely inaccurate method monitoring your battery's charge. Surface charge on your terminals can result in the voltmeter reading fully charged when it is actually less than half charged, this is why a product like this is so nessecery to ensure you never get a flat battery sneaking up on you without you knowing.

The unit is based on a powerful microprocessor, programmed with all the algorithms needed for high precision monitoring.

The BMV600S gives you accurate readings of:

• Battery Voltage (V)
• Discharge Current (A)
• Ampere-hours Consumed (Ah)
• State of Charge (%)
• Time To Go at current rate of charge.

A visible and audible alarm warns the user of over and under voltage as well as when the battery is discharged.

Included in the package is the monitor itself, front bezel, 500A shunt, 10m of RJ 12 UTP cable and 2m of battery cable with fuse. No other components are needed.

Installation is simple with only one cable between the unit and the shunt, other battery monitors require numerous cables making installation a hassle.

The bezel can be separated for a square or round appearance as desired.

The monitor can measure between 9.5 and 95V DC and only draws 4mA from your 12V battery (3mA @ 24V) while in use.
