Matson 12V- 2 and 12Amp Electronic Charger

This charger not only charges your battery it prolongs it's life.

This model enables the user to choose between 2 and 12A output, catering for small or large batteries.

The 2/12A electronic chargers from Matson feature microprocessor controlled 5 stage charging:

Desulphation- saves deeply discharged batteries.
Fast Charge- high frequency charge.
Equalization- pulse charge at lower current to fully charge the battery.
Boost Charge- brings the battery to 100% charge without overcharging.
Maintenance/Float- maintains battery at full charge.

They are fully sealed and have received the IP65 water resistance rating, which means they are splash, rain and dust resistant. Perfect for outdoor or boating applications.

Suitable for charging all battery types including Gel, AGM and Calcium batteries.

A desulphation cycle ensures that the batteries fully recover after each charge, this will prolong the life of your battery and optimize performance.

Once the battery has reached full charge the charger will automatically switch to float mode to maintain the battery at 100%. This means that the charger is able to charge and maintain batteries without overcharging!

Matson chargers have been designed first and foremost with your safety in mind with safety features including:

Reverse polarity protection, automatically determines polarity protecting against incorrect connection
Over charge protection, will not overcharge your battery.
Over temperature protection, will automatically cut out if unit overheats.
