2. Do I need an insulating cover?

NO! Fridgemate will continue to freeze in Australia’s hottest conditions - cooling capacity up to 60°C below ambient. Fridgemate's fully insulated polyethylene cabinet is at a minimum 45mm thick. Unlike the other heavily marketed imported fridges which need Insulating Covers to operate efficiently, the EvaKool FridgeMate does not need an insulating bag because they are insulated properly for Australian Conditions in the first place which means the compressor does not need to operate as often, saving power and creating a stable temperature while giving you the ability to freeze in temperatures up to and beyond 60ºC.
