CTEK SmartPass is a power management system which manages and optimises your power generated from solar cells, wind power, AC chargers and alternators, then distributes regulated energy to battery banks or auxiliary batteries.

This product  combined with the CTEK D250S Dual  (also available from this store) will ensure your batteries always receive optimal charging . The SmartPass manages energy transfer through the D250S and produces a 14.4V output, even if your alternator is only producing 14V! This extra voltage is required to fully charge your 12V batteries up to 100%. This integrated system is ideal for 4x4 vehicles, boats, caravans, camper trailers and all other heavy vehicles.

A Battery Guard system, such as the one found in SmartPass, protects your batteries by preventing total discharges which can be catastrophic to your batteries and also ensures that essential equipment such as radios, emergency lights and navigation systems are always functioning.

By installing this unit into your dual battery system you are significantly simplifying your setup as the SmartPass eliminates the need for units with multiple outputs. All batteries can be charged and maintained through the one unit.

An in-built temperature sensor detects battery temperature and adjusts charging current to avoid any overheating.

With an IP65 rating this unit is suitable for outdoor use, water splash proof and dust proof.
